Rylan Clark gives hilarious reaction after being compared to e-fit of criminal

People couldn't stop laughing at the resemblance between Rylan and the e-fit

Rylan Clark has given a hilarious reaction to people who have been comparing him to an e-fit of a man 'on the run'.

It all started when Kent Police released an image of a man they were looking for while investigating an incident in Maidstone.

“Officers investigating a report of attempted robbery in #Maidstone have released a computer generated image of a man they would like to identify," said the force.

The incident was an attempted robbery that occurred earlier in April when four men approached a woman and demanded she had over her watch.

The woman refused and was chased by the four men, who then assaulted her.

Kent Police explained: "The victim reported that between 1.30pm and 2.10pm on Friday 5 April 2024, four men approached her outside Romney Place and demanded she hand over her watch, when she refused, they chased her down the road before assaulting her. She suffered bruising to her face and the watch was not taken."

Following the e-fit being released, Rylan said he must be 'doing something very right or very wrong' after he was compared to the man on social media.

Finding it all pretty funny, Rylan denied he's the man in question, after the e-fit revealed a man with a dark beard and similar hairstyle.

“I woke up yesterday to a lot of messages from people saying, ‘Are you on the run?’,” Rylan said while appearing on This Morning.

“I didn’t know what was going on. I then saw the tweet, so I decided to tweet ‘It wasn’t me’."

People still weren't convinced, however, with one writing on X: "Are you sure?"

While another said: "First thing that I thought was oh thats Rylan."

And a third joked: "Definitely was you!"

Rylan - who is currently in Sweden for the Eurovision Song Contest - explained he also gets compared to Conchita, a singer who won the contest back in 2014.

“I get this every single year around this time of the year with Conchita from Eurovision and I’m having it here in Sweden at the moment," he said.

“People are going ‘Conchita, we love you!’ And I’m like ‘No, it’s me.’

“Cats, criminals, Conchitas - clearly I must be doing something very right or very wrong.”
